WOOD TIGER Parasemia plantaginis 
Very local - may be under recorded because of lack of fieldwork in optimum habitat
Rosie reported it as not uncommon on moors and there were no records from the Rothamsted sites.
Adults recorded only as singles and not recorded annually.

First and last flight dates recorded in Caithness: 5th June to 19th July
