Local and scarce and as such reported by Rosie, but can be abundant at some sites
The only Rothamsted records are two from the Reay site in 1994 & 1996.
Scottish Status: Common - stable. UK Status: Local
UK distribution shows a long-term decline (cf: Atlas of Britain & Ireland's Larger Moths)
First and last flight dates recorded in Caithness: 10th June to 21st August
