NORTHERN EGGAR Lasiocampa quercus f calliunae
Probably widespread on moorland but under recorded. A scattering of records across the County in recent years.
According to Rosie it was widely distributed on heather throughout the County. Not recorded in Rothamsted traps.
Probably under recorded because of lack of fieldwork in optimum habitat
