NORTHERN DEEP-BROWN DART Aporophyla lueneburgensis
Widespread but scarce.
Rosie described it as not at all common in Regions 1, 2 and 4 and it was recorded from six of the Rothamsted sites in varying degrees of frequency.
Recorded annually mainly from regularly monitored sites
Scottish Status: Widespread but major recent decline - serious decline especially in E.  UK Status: Common
UK  distribution shows a major decline (cf: Atlas of Britain & Ireland's Larger Moths)
First and last flight dates recorded in Caithness: 22nd July to 24th September
