JULY BELLE    Scotopteryx luridata
Recorded regularly from well monitored sites and appears to be becoming more frequent.
Not recorded by Rosie, but records from the Rothamsted traps at Watten and Latheron in 1981, 1982 and 1990.
Scottish Status: Widespread, mainly Eastern or coastal - stable. UK Status: Common
UK distribution has significantly decreased  (cf: Atlas of Britain & Ireland's Larger Moths)
First and last flight dates recorded in Caithness: 22nd June to 11th August
