Said by Rosie to be common on birch in Regions 2 and 4, but not recorded from any of the Rothamsted sites.

UK abundance shows a major decrease (cf: Atlas of Britain & Ireland's Larger Moths)
First and last flight dates recorded in Caithness: 23rd May to 27th July  (Records from late August to mid-September may indicate 2nd generations in some years)
