Considered widespread by Rosie and recorded sparringly at four of the Rothamsted sites
Scottish status: Common - stable    UK status: Common
UK distribution has increased substantially since 1970 (cf: Atlas of Britain & Ireland's Larger Moths)
First and last flight dates recorded in Caithness: 19th May to 24th August    (One early record 2nd May and one late record 23rd September)
