Appears to be a recent colonist. Not recorded by Rosie nor from the Rothamsted sites.
The earliest record is from ND13 in 2005, but common in Dunnet Forest and recorded from a scattering of sites across the County
Scottish Status: Widespread - major increase and range expansion. UK Status: Local
Although expanding in Scotland overall in the UK distribution has declined significantly  (cf: Atlas of Britain & Ireland@s Larger Moths)
First and last flight dates recorded in Caithness: 17th July to 4th September
