Scarce and appears to have suffered a dramatic decline. One or two records from scattered sites annually
Described by Rosie as very common except in Region 3, there is only one record from the Reay Rothamsted site in 1982 and it was trapped at the Watten site in small numbers in most years between 1991 and 2002.
Scottish Status: Widespread E and Central Belt, scarce W - probable decline since 1980. UK Status: Common
